Wow. It seems many of the artists I grew up on, blasting around the house, are dying off one by one. Another great singer Teddy Pendergrass has passed at the age 0f 59. Starting out with Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, he eventually went on to a very successful solo career. He scored two number one R&B LPs, Life Is A Song Worth Singing, and Teddy.

When Isaac Hayes passed I did a tribute mix after he passed. In this case I had already done this mix back in October of last year (2009). So it’s only fitting that I finally post it as we remember Teddy Pendergrass. As a bonus I am also posting here the mashup I did at the same time I did this mix. Enjoy.
